Climate Emergency Reading Room

Fri 04.04 at 17:00

Bergen Kunsthall, room 5

A traveling reading room and exhibition initiated by Adam and Amelia Greenhall of Anemone (US). This edition is co-curated by the artist and curator Jessica Williams (NO). Browse a selection of books, zines and pamphlets about the climate crisis that are especially gathered for the occasion and collectively chosen by Anemone and Williams.

The artist publications span local issues, renewable energy and solarpunk, political organizing, grief, taking action, resource sharing, and community. The reading room publications are for viewing only, but many were sourced from other exhibitors at the fair and can be purchased at their respective tables.

Attendees to BABF are invited to bring rocks, flowers, leaves, and other meaningful objects to add to the community altar: a collection that will grow throughout the fair weekend. The altar will be a container for and a symbol of our values, gratitude to each other and our planet, and wishes for our collective future.
