(originally published in 2015 with a first edition of 200 and a second edition of 300 in 2018). It also features Yes, Plants Do Feel (first edition of 300 in 2021) and introduces a new segment, Please Close the Door Behind You.

Bird of Paradise, by Anne Tveit Knutsen
"This is a book about my encounter with floral designer Rikhard Rune Juuhl (1952–2023). It is about identity and belonging, about flourishing as a human being even when challenged by disability and serious illness.
The texts in this book reflect the perspectives of both the artist and the nurse. Thus, they bring together both the artistic and the nursing aspects of my background – to explore issues of enduring concern to me from within different horizons of experience."
Norwegian and English texts. 253 pages.
