TAMBOURINE is an online platform dedicated to independent publishing, based in Madrid. Making use of a specialized online bookstore as a starting point, the platform seeks to facilitate alternative access routes for the exhibition and integration of books, magazines and zines by independent publishers and self-published authors. By questioning the "traditional" bookstore through the development of "ephemeral" bookstores, TAMBOURINE is looking to explore and transform the experience of the book.
