Mari Norddahl

Mari Norddahl is a textile artist, exploring the object as a phenomenon. Her previously published books examine objects as they exist in the world: as found and lost objects, as things carried in hands, or as beings moving slowly through nature. Together, these publications form part of a broader search to understand the object and its purpose in the world. For BABF 2026, Norddahl will present a soft book based on Daily Predictions, a text work which explores how language can be interpreted by the reader, and how textiles can be used directly within a book format.
