Kurt Johannessen

Kurt Johannessen (b.1960) published his first artist's book in 1984. In 1999 he founded his own publishing house, Zeth Forlag, which publishes all the books. Many of his books are text-related, but some are based on drawings or photographs. The text works are often stories in a few sentences. They are visual, poetic and sometimes humorous. He has so far produced 147 books. In 2013, he started the book series About-Something. There are 20 books in the series and many of them were the basis for various performance lectures. These books lie at the intersection between philosophy/visual arts/poetry/science.
