Hocus Bogus Publishing

Dennis Muñoz Espadiña is a visual artist working since 2014. His artistic practice encompasses publications, performances, installations and, more recently, animation. He runs Hocus Bogus Publishing, a project he started in 2015 to share artistic “B-side” material through print. Initially, Hocus Bogus focused on the distribution of zines and marginal artistic content, but it has since grown into a participatory process of printing and publishing. Since 2022, Dennis has been running Hocus Bogus from Roodkapje, an art space in Rotterdam, where he offers workshops and mentorship in Riso stencil printing. His work often combines printmaking with performative interventions and larger projects, combining different artistic disciplines. Recently, Dennis has shown a growing interest in experimental animation and is exploring new ways to integrate this medium into his existing artistic practices.
