GG Print Studio (Grafikverkstan Godsmagasinet)

Grafikverkstan Godsmagasinet (GG Print Studio), located in the remote village of Uttersberg in Bergslagen, Sweden, is a studio for artists, poets and independent publishers working with analogue printmaking techniques. It is run as a non-profit organization since 2009 and we are regularly taking part in international book fairs. 

The books we present at this years BABF are made by artists that has been on residency in Uttersberg to work with letterpress, but the books are not necessarily produced in the studio. Call it concrete poetry or visual poetry…..but I prefer to approach it as an open field for experimentation with words, typography and language – readable or not. Letterpress is a technique that is so intriguing to work with, so encouraging from this point of view. 

Represented at our stand this year is Angie Butler (UK), Kamilla Jørgensen (Denmark) and Charlotte Jung (Sweden), together with a selection of my own work from recent years. 

During 2026 GG Print Studio will build a new studio in Uttersberg, more than double size compared to the current old warehouse, which is 100 square meters. This will provide us with a small gallery space, better facilities for public events and more comfortable rooms for guest artists on residence. Very welcome to get in touch if you are interested.
