Egidija Čiricaitė

Egidija Čiricaitė plays with and around language through printing, writing, publishing, and academic research, creating nebulous worlds at the periphery of linguistic experience.
Born in Kaunas, Lithuania, she is now based in London, pursuing an interdisciplinary PhD at the Slade and UCL Linguistics, London.
Her current publishing practice centres around intricate bilingual visual poetry inspired by Lithuanian textile patterns. Often produced on light semi translucent papers, her typewritten books create ethereal reading moments in the space between fading words and waning images.
